Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of Journalism!
I am Jennifer English and I teach Journalism 1, Yearbook, and Newspaper.
Below is just a short summary but please contact me if you have any questions or concerns dealing with the Publications department.
Also we will use the LMS system for most assignments and updates for the course. This is accessible if you have your student's username and password.

Journalism: Grade Placement 9-12 |

Students will learn about the history of communication, the newspaper, editing, advertising, design layout, how publications work and much more. This is also the prerequisite to apply for the Yearbook or Newspaper staff.

Yearbook: Grade Placement 10-12 |

 |
students are in charge of documenting the history of their school while learning lessons on how to budget, deadlines, marketing, and teamwork. They have set deadlines that they have to follow and depend on each other for the yearbook to be a great success! |

Newspaper: Grade Placement 10-12 |
 |
 |
students are in charge of producing a paper that documents current events and future stories to share with the school population. These students also learn from marketing, budgeting, advertising to pay for the paper, design, and deadlines that are crucial to meet for students to make a great school paper! |
