WELCOME TO MS. ELLIS'S CLASS!
Welcome to my web page! I hope this helps students and parents to obtain up-to-date information about my classes. This year, I am teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA- Read 180. I am also the Special Ed Monitoring Teacher. If a student is missing work from another teacher, I just may ZAP them to have a second opportunity to do the missing work.
Our Reading 180 classes had fantastic results last year and really boosted our reading scores! Congratulations to all my students for all their hard work! You can learn more about this class by clicking on LA Page on the right.
I am also the Krimmel Swim Coach, so be sure to check out swim team information here. Swim Team begins April 6th. We will practice before school at Klein Oak.

A Little About ME!
I am so happy to be a Krimmel Knight! This is my 23rd year to teach and I still look forward to each and every new year. I received my degrees from Penn State Unversity and began my teaching career in Pennsylvania. Upon moving to Texas in 1985, I knew I not only wanted to work in Klein ISD, but I wanted my own three children to attend Klein Schools. All three of my children attended Northampton Elementary, Hildebrandt Intermediate and Klein Oak High School. However, I began my Klein teaching career as Doerre Warrior. After briefly leaving teaching in 1990 to manage Training and Development at Compaq Computer Corporation, I returned to the classroom in The Woodlands. After 10 years at McCullough and The Woodlands High School, I made my way back to Klein and to Hildebrandt Intermediate. Now, I am excited to be part of the Krimmel Team where we will take the lead our Knights charging into the new millenium. We really are going to show everyone we are.....the best school in Klein, the best school in Texas, the best school in the United States!
ZAP Program
As the special ed monitoring teacher, I check with all teachers to see who is missing work or needs to retake tests in their classes. If a special education/resource or Co class student is missing an assignment, they will be assigned to bring their lunch to my classroom to work on the missing work while they eat. This gives them a second and sometimes third opportunity to eliminate their zeros because at Krimmel....
