Hi! I am Jerry Birden and I teach 6th grade math. I hope to have an exciting year and look forward to meeting my new students. Students should expect a challenging yet rewarding year which should build a solid foundation for many years of success in life and math.

For extra math practice try out some of the web sites posted on the left.  There is plenty of practice on multiple levels as well as games and puzzles related to math and problem solving.  If you know of an appropriate site that may be of use to aspiring mathematicians please send me an email or note and we will check it out and post a link.
