Math Studies SL is a one year course offered to students with a variety of abilities and academic background. Students need a foundation in basic math skills and processes. This course will review Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. The course will investigate numerous real life examples where mathematics will be used to answer questions, make generalizations, and make predictions. Students will appreciate the mathematics that can be applied to other subject areas, to common general world occurrences, and to topics that relate to the students interest.
