    International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
KOHS 3rd IB Graduating Class
KOHS Top Ten Percent
IB seniors proudly display their honor medals for being in the top ten percent of the 2008 KOHS graduating class.
The Gang's Still Smiling
The IB exams are finally over; they're exhausted, but they manage to smile for the camera.
Mai's Reflections
"In the beginning, I was skeptical of doing the entire IB program . . . I wasn't exactly enthusiastic about theory of knowledge and all the essays either. . .I'm glad that I ended up sticking it out because it's an accomplishment to finish the program whether I get the diploma or not."
Quinton's Thoughts
"It really has felt that in a way IB has controlled my social life, but I do know that some of that was my fault. IB certainly has benefited me in education, because I actually feel smarter."
Waiting to Exhale
Ok, we're ready to tackle that IB Physics exam.
We're just trying to stay sane!
Kristina puts little "rabbit ears" on Cody while Victoria
watches.
Victoria Remembers
"Spending hours at a time, we plowed through Extended Essays, CAS reflections, and IB tests. Even IB courses required extra attention as my fellow physics students remember staying up until one in the morning finishing major physics labs and studying for tests. The memory of completing an entire math portfolio in one night will forever be etched in my head, reminding me of the procrastination dangers. Ironically, these were the memories that changed my senior year from a period in my life to unforgettable moments."
Cody's Ruminations
"I am an International Baccalaureate student, weathered already not only by the rigors of time management and test prepartion, but also blessed by the prowess of true writing ability. I can overcome any obstacles that now come my way. All essays, standardized tests and elaborate keynote presentations will now cower and cringe at the sound of my voice."
No worries, mate!
"We've got this exam business down to a fine art," says Nathan, Jay and Christine.
Abbey's Theory
"I had been told many things about what to expect [in TOK]and stepped into fourth period thinking it was going to be the longest 50 minutes of my life. I was pleasantly surprised. I think it's safe to say we were all a little blown away to begin with; after spending the summer not thinking, this was going to be a class that required a little input. TOK has been an interesting class really. . .it's been 50 minutes of each day when you get to sit and think, most of the time anyway."
Smile for the camera, ladies.
Leanne, Caitlin, and Abbey are ready to relax. Please, please no more studying!
Just one more formal discussion
Shannon's reading, but she's thinking: Ok, ok, Mrs. Garner--just one more formal discussion. But why does it have to be about a gorilla named Ishmael?
