Social Studies is Spectacular
The Land Around Us
Unit 3 focuses on the Earth. Children will explore the concept of neighborhood and the people who live in a community, as well as physical characteristics of Earth, such as landforms, and bodies of water. They will explore how to use maps and globes to find places on Earth. In addition, children will explore some of Earth's resources, how people depend on them, and how we can help save them.
