The PTO will be voting to change a section of the By-Laws at the General Assembly Meeting on September 13, 2007. The By-Laws currently state in Article IV under Membership Meetings, Section 1 – General Membership Meetings, “There shall be at least (3) General Membership Meetings each year. We will be voting to change the number of General Membership Meetings to (2) per year. If you have any questions, please contact Paige Castor @ pcastor@charter.net.

The Hildebrandt Parent Teacher Organization is currently holding their annual membership drive. First, there will be no PTO membership dues. All parents and guardians of Hildebrandt students are members of the PTO. Membership does not require participation in any activity or volunteer work. Membership does allow you to vote at general assembly meetings. The PTO will not have a catalog sale of any kind. We realize that many of our children participate in other activities that have fundraisers. We do not wish to compete with the other departments, groups or clubs that use catalog sales to fund their activities. The Hildebrandt PTO decided that the purchase of Mustang Mates for each student is our highest priority. The cost of this project is approximately $5,000. We will rely on donations to fund this project. Any additional funds raised goes to support our children’s learning environment. Any amount you can give is appreciated. We recommend $10 but for donations of $25 or more, you will receive a Hildebrandt vehicle sticker/decal and a student directory. Membership forms are available in the front office or you may sign-up at Open House on September 13, 2007.
