These two orchestras consist primarily of sixth graders. The Beginning Orchestra students start in the fall and the Concert Orchestra students are the ones who started in the fifth grade program. Both classes focus on the fundamentals of playing their instrument. They have formal performances through the year including a Holiday Concert and a Spring Concert. The Beginning and Concert Orchestra students will compete in the Klein Sixth Grade Solo Festival where students can earn ratings and a ribbon. Social activities include a skating party and an end of year party to celebrate a great year.

Philharmonic, Symphony and Chamber Orchestras are performing groups at Hildebrandt and consist of seventh and eighth grade students. These students will participate in many performances throughout the year including the Fall Concert, a Holiday Concert, Klein Pre UIL Festival and a Spring Concert. Several students will audition for the All-Region Orchestra. A select group of students will perform for the National Honor Society induction ceremony. Students will also compete in the Klein ISD Solo and Ensemble Contest. Chamber Orchestra students will participate in the Galveston Isle Orchestra Festival. Finally, the Chamber and Symphony Orchestras will compete in the UIL concert and Sight-reading Contest!
