No Place for Hate® Award 2007 |
 | |
Hassler Elementary worked hard in the spring of 2007 to meet the requirements of this award. Every grade level participated in activities that required students and staff to become more aware of cultural differences in the world. As a school we completed anti-bias based activities that our counselor, Adria Stacha, had provided for us. It was a rewarding experience for everyone!

 | |
The Texas Business & Education Coalition/Just 4 the Kids chose Hassler Elementary as one of eighty-three elementary schools in Texas. The Honor Roll award is one of the most prestigious awards for sustained, academic excellence in Texas. It recognizes consistent performance for over three years by schools that have excellent performance in each grade, each subject, and the rate in the top quartile of their demographic peer group. Mrs. Randall and Mrs. Pearce accepted the award in Austin with other Honor Roll Schools in December 2005.
