Hassler has been awarded this prestigious honor for the 2005, 2008, and 2009 school years! Awarded by the Texas Business and Education Coalition to only 4% of Texas schools for consistent high performance in all subject areas.

Hassler Elementary is proud to be participating in this program. It will help our students to make wiser choices in their lives. This program will consist of daily messages shared during our morning announcements that will encourage reflection of our character traits of integrity, respect, confidence, courage, and honesty.

Hassler Elementary works hard every year to meet the requirements of this award. We hold this award for the 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 school years. Every grade level participates in activities that require students and staff to become more aware of cultural differences in the world. As a school we completed anti-bias based activities that our counselor, Adria Stacha, had provided for us. It was a rewarding experience for everyone, and we will continue to work for this award each year!
