College Bound!

It's never too early to start thinking about life after high school. The first Wednesday of every month will be college day at Greenwood Forest Elementary and we would like to encourage our students to wear a shirt or hat from their favorite college.

**ATTENTION PARENTS**

Please remember that students are not allowed on the school grounds before 7:50 a.m. and not permitted in the building until 8:00., unless prior arrangements have been made with Campus Kids, Be-A-Champion, or a school activity.
Also, students must be picked up promptly at the conclusion of the school day unless prior arrangements have been made with Campus Kids, Be-A-Champion, or a school activity.

EARLY DISMISSALS

Early dismissals after 2:30 will not be permitted unless:

*A note is sent with your child the morning of the early dismissal
*A call is placed to the front office prior to 1:00 p.m. on the day of the early dismissal
Numerous requests for early dismissal are received after 2:30 p.m., especially on rainy days. The personnel necessay to retrieve so many students is not available.
We are happy to allow an early dismissal provided that you follow the procedures as outlined above.

Policy Changes
KISD states that all visitors must sign-in at the office, present a photo ID, and wear a visitor sticker at all times when in the building. Thank you for your assistance in keeping our school and our children safe!
