I would like to welcome you to Epps Island. The students, parents, and faculty are the reason that Epps is such a special place. This is my first year to serve the Epps community as their principal. I earned my undergraduate degree from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, TX, and my masters in education from University of Houston. I began my teaching career as a 3rd -5th Alternative Education teacher for Lamar CISD. My next assignment was a 5th grade teacher at Jack Fields Elementary in Humble ISD. I began my administrative career at Mittelstädt Elementary in Klein ISD. I truly feel blessed to be at Epps Island. Please stop by and introduce yourself to me. | | |

This is Mrs. Diaz’s third year as an assistant principal at Epps Island. Mrs. Diaz worked as a Bilingual Instructional Specialist for the district before coming to Epps Island. Prior to that, she taught fourth grade bilingual students for 12 years at Kaiser Elementary. Mrs. Diaz attended Sam Houston State University, in Huntsville, where she received a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Teaching. She then went on to get her master’s in Administration from Prairie View A & M University. What Mrs. Diaz likes most about Epps Island, is the opportunity to work closely with children and make a positive difference in their lives. | | |

This Is Mrs. Bevan’s first year as an assistant principal at Epps Island. Mrs. Bevan worked in Greenwich, Connecticut as an assistant principal before coming to Epps Island. Prior to that, she taught second, third and fourth grade for 10 years. Mrs. Bevan attended Boston University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She then went on to get her Master’s degree in Special Education from Fairfield University and her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership from the University of Connecticut. What Mrs. Bevan likes most about Epps Island is the wonderful community of parents, teachers and students working to together to make a positive difference. | | |
