Martial Arts, Self-discipline, and Focus |
Epps Island students were treated to a very special presentation during P.E. by Hero Martial Arts Academy. Mr. Josh led the students by teaching self-discipline and focus through martial arts. A very focused and well-disciplined student was selected to break a board at the end of the class.
Los estudiantes de Epps Island tuvieron una presentación especial durante la hora de educación física. Un maestro de la academia de artes marciales llamada “Hero Martial Arts Academy” hizo varias demonstraciones para todos los estudiantes. El maestro Josh inicio la clase con enseñanzas acerca de disciplina propia y enfoque mediante las artes marciales. Un estudiante modelo fue seleccionado para romper una tabla de madera al final de la case. |

Moody Gardens |
Our 5th Grade students had a wonderful educational field trip to Moody Gardens at Galveston. Students and teachers had a positive experience generated by excitement about wildlife and wild places.

The Klein Multipurpose Center has in exhibition for the next few months the artwork of our third grade student Aliah Mares. Aliah's cow was one of five elementary rodeo entries specially selected for long term display! |

Epps Island would like to extend appreciation to Mr. and Mrs. Kikis who donated dictionaries for all of third grade. They came personally to distribute the dictionaries to the students and even showed them how to use it! |
