Lucy Calkins - Columbia University Reading and Writing Project |
This Summer, Epps Island Elementary teachers attended The Teachers College Reading Project at Columbia University. The Teachers College Reading and Writing Project is a research and staff development institution housed at Teacher College, Columbia University. The Project's director, Lucy Calkins, is the author of many best-sellers, and three series books. Lucy Calkins' books have been foundational to language arts instruction across the world. Thank you Ms. Bevan for this wonderful opportunity!
