A solid education opens doors to innumerable opportunities. I believe that every child has the right to receive a solid education, and for 17 years I have had the privilege of helping children obtain that goal. Students who can read critically can succeed.
Math Specialist
My philosophy in education is to provide learning experiences that allow the child to grow in the learning process. Opportunities that are hands on and learner-centered are the catalyst to life long learning. Teachers not only teach, they also facilitate through the learning process which encourgages the learner to take an active role through their learning journey.
TAKS Specialist
"Every child deserves the opportunity for a great education. And the best education is not where they only learn the basic subjects of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. They also need to be challenged in higher-level, critical thinking skills - to infer and ask the question "Why?". I hope to instill a hunger to find out more about subjects beyond what is in the textbooks. Learning is an exciting and a life-long activity. It is a journey to be enjoyed, especially for our young students. It will be a great year at Eiland Elementary!"

"Teaching is a wonderful profession! I find great joy through every child that enters my classroom. I feel greatly honored to be such an important part of their lives.
