Eiland is a place of learning and excitement. I work with pre-k students and show them how to care, share, and be good students. PreK is the first opportunity many of them have in a school setting. I'm so glad that I'm part of that experience!

I enjoy helping the teacher and working with the children in their academic ,social, and physical development. While the children are at school, I want to be a part of their safe, secure and friendly environment. I also enjoy developing partnerships between the parents and the school.

As a nurse assistant, I make sure the students are healthy and feel good to be able to learn without distractions due to health. In our clinic, we make sure students are given medications, screen them for hearing and vision and help them with the other medical needs they may have. Most of all, I am there as a caring hand, and no matter what, to let them know they will be fine. My job is critical, but rewarding, because it is wonderful to see them well, whether it’s physically or emotionally.

My objective is to provide the atmosphere for our students to learn as much possible during my time with them.

Good teachers impact the lives of their students. A teacher transfers knowledge and creates lifelong learners in a fun way. A teacher is also fair, firm, and patient. And a teacher approaches students’ discovery by presenting material and concepts in a variety of contexts and by having students perform the knowledge acquired. “Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand.”

Education is a neccesity; that is why my goal is to challenge the minds of the students and expand their horizons.

My work at Eiland is very interesting.I enjoy watching the students grow and assisting them in the classroom.
It is so rewarding to watch the students reach their goal. I work in the copy room where I help prepare the classroom work and activities for our teachers. I love my work!

This is where I find great pleasure. I really enjoy interacting with the children here at Eiland. I consider it a blessing and a great priviledge to have the opportunity to touch so many lives. It is my goal to influence those lives in a positive and productive way.
