KINDERGARTEN

"I have committed my life to educating, encouraging and motivating our future generation to being the best they can be. Helping children discover their abilities through love, discipline and positive self-esteem is the most rewarding profession there is. It is a joy to watch children grow and believe in themselves and know that I made a difference in their lives. Two quotes that direct my teaching are; "A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, touches a heart, and shapes the future". (source unknown)
"We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give"."
"Living in a multicultural city my objective is to provide the atmosphere for every student to grow not only academically but also independently. I want to provide the experience for each student to become a positive, productive bilingual, bicultural adult."
"My teachers taught me I can be anything that I want to be; I chose to become a teacher. Why? I believe that any child, given a nurturing environment that is conducive to learning, can and will succeed in school and in life. I did, and my students will too. After all, how can they develop big dreams, if we can’t make their small dreams come true? I focus on mastery of academics, but the ultimate goal is to instill a love of learning, education, and a respect for our world and the people who inhabit it."
"Ever since I was in kindergarten, I have wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. Teaching young children is my passion. My goal is that each child that walks into my classroom will leave with a love for learning."
I believe that in order to teach a student you need to get to know that student and find out how that student learns. Every child is unique in his or her abilities and I believe it is my job to help them reach their highest potential. I love teaching because I love to see the joy in children's faces when they have learned or understood something for the first time.
