"My philosophy of teaching is to make learning fun and challenging. Make each lesson interesting and rewarding for both the student and myself. Watch each student blossom and boost their self-worth, self-esteem and make them understand the importance of education: to never loose their first language and their pride in their culture. Teach them the beauty of their culture and to learn about other cultures. Instill in them that they are our future leaders and to challenge them to meet that goal. Prepare them to the best of my ability for the next grade level. Last, but not least, to let them know how important it is to be bilingual in this global community." |

"I think we are all the product of our experience. I have no doubt that my philosophy will grow and change with my own learning experiences.
My idea of a perfect teacher is one who inspires learning in others creating an interest in the required curriculum. A perfect teacher has to be enthusiastic and motivational. Certainly these are heavy demands necessary for any professional to meet on a daily basis. Considering that children are our future, the effort is worth it. My goal is to meet such an ideal.
I want children to know learning is fun. I will do my best to make their experience as enjoyable and beneficial as possible for them. I will use positive reinforcement to encourage proper interaction, good behavior, and mutual self-respect.
Teaching is a great challenge, but so is life. I enjoy teaching and challenge myself to grow with the experiences of being a professional teacher for life."

There are a lot of benefits to my job. The thing I find most amazing is that I get to influence the future by teaching children, and each year the children influence my life in some way. Although I may never know the impact I've had in a child's life, I hope that one way or another I've not only given them the best education possible, but that I've made just the slightest bit of a permanent positive influence in their life. The other thing I've found is that I have learned so much more than I ever thought possible just by teaching. I have my dream job, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing the gifts of your child with me. "The best of all things is to learn. Money can be lost or stolen, health and strength may fail, but what you have committed to your mind is yours forever."

"I have come to realize that students have as much to teach me as I do them. We have to be a team, learning and growing together. I teach academics and social skills. They teach unconditional love and forgiveness. I love their enthusiasm, excitement, and curiosity about the smallest things. They remind me of how many wonders there are to discover in this world. I am grateful to be a part of their learning and the discovery of the world around them."
