The Klein ISD medication policy states that nonprescription medications needed for longer than 2 weeks must have a written request from a physician.

Over the counter medications must be the appropriate dose for the age of the child.

Medications of any kind will not be given without a request in writing from the parent.

Forms are available in the clinic.

Prescription medications should be accompanied by a written statement from a physician or dentist licensed to practice in the United States.

Prescription medications must be in the original container.

Medications will remain in the clinic.
