Welcome to the Ehrhardt Elementary Library page. The Ehrhardt library is fully automated with more than 10,000 books available for check-out. The librarian is Ms. J.Evans, the library aide is Ms. J. Davison. The library is open every school day from 8:05 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. All classes visit the library on a weekly basis to check out books. Students in 2nd through 5th grade may come individually to Daily Check-Out (8:05 - 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.). (Reminder: All books must be returned before new books may be checked out.)

Ehrhardt’s Birthday Book Club

The Ehrhardt Library is proud to be continuing our Birthday Book Club program this year. Parents, relatives, and friends have the opportunity to surprise a student by donating a book to the Ehrhardt Library in honor of their birthday.

Mrs. Evans, the librarian, will have a special selection of NEW books in the library that you or your child may choose from. There is a fee of $12.00 per book. A special bookplate with your child’s name and birthday will be permanently placed inside the book. On your child’s birthday, a presentation will be made to your child as being the first one to check out the book donated in his/her honor. Your child may enjoy the book for two weeks before returning it to the library for others to enjoy. Also, your child’s name will be displayed on the Birthday Book Club bulletin board located in the library. Children with birthdays from May through August may have their presentation at any time during the year. Please turn in the Birthday Book Club form to Mrs. Evans at least ONE WEEK prior to the presentation date. Look for your Birthday Book Club form in Wednesday folders.
