Get Creative with Camp Invention!
Are you looking for educational yet fun summer enrichment for your children?
Camp Invention, a nationally recognized program that focuses on creativity and problem solving, will be held right here at Ehrhardt, the week of June 23-27, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. There are new activities at Camp Invention each summer. During the week in this year’s Imagine camp, you will become the first astronauts to explore the planet Mars in the M.A.R.S. (Moving at Rocket Speed)™ module, renovate a museum’s sculpture garden in the Art Park™ module and rebuild and clean a polluted city to make a more eco-friendly environment for its residents during the Saving Sludge City™ module. Also, in I Can Invent™, you will explore the mechanics of simple machines and disassemble them to create your own invention. Have a blast with a set of high-energy recreational activities that combine creativity, teamwork, and fun in Recess Remix™.
Camp Invention is a non-profit program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame. The summer day camp is for all children entering grades 2-6. Developed by educators and led by local teachers, the innovative curriculum, is carefully tested to ensure a positive enrichment experience in a safe and fun environment. Coach Jason Fowlkes will serve as the camp director again this summer.
The regular price for a week of Camp Invention is $205, but you can register with a friend, via the toll free number or US mail and both save $20. This is less than $6 per hour – one of the best values you will find in summer camps. You can register for Camp Invention at
www.campinvention.org or by calling 800-968-4332. There are also registration forms available in the office. For more information, contact Jason Fowlkes, Camp Director at
