Welcome to The World Famous Wunderlich Intermediate! My name is Daya Watkins and I teach 7th grade Texas History. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University and have been teaching for 20 years. My husband is a basketball coach and our beautiful daughter is a 6th grader here in Klein.

As a 7th generation Texan, the history of our great state is one of my passions! I've lived all over Texas and I love every part of it, but I have to say that West Texas is especially close to my heart. The main goal for all of my students is that they become good leaders and responsible citizens who serve their community,Texas and the United States. I hope they will come to love Texas as much as I do!
