Pursuit of Passion: This task allows students in Kindergarten through grade 10 to explore the relationship between their personal interests and future opportunities. By connecting the two, students will gain well-rounded perspectives that help guide them toward professional or academic future goals. The product for this task, will be an original product, which includes the student's point of view, voice, reflection, and examination of the relationship between topic and the real world.

Lifestyles of the Fit and Famous: This task will generate awarenesss of healthy lifestyle choices among students and community members. Students will begin by looking at a sport or a sports figure and analyzing the important aspects of math and science in that sport (e.g. the physics behind different pitches in baseball). Students will also investigate the social implications of participating in sports. Finally, they will conduct an in-depth investigation of a chosen health issue. The product for this task will be a brochure or article, the creation of a new sport or game, and a learning center.
