I truly believe that attitude is everything. The attitude that our children see in their parents will play a large role in the attitude that they will acquire.

I have two children. They both attend Klein Collins High School. One is a senior and the other is a freshman. What an exciting year it will be for all of us! I have been married to my husband, Mike, for twenty-one years. I have been teaching at Roth Elementary for six years. I love my job. It is a difficult job, but extremely rewarding. I try to live each day with this philosophy in mind: "We have a choice about the attitude we will have everyday and I try to choose a positive attitude that will ultimately reflect onto others."

The remarkable think is we have a choice, every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for the day.

We cannot change our past.

We cannot change the fact that other people will act in a certain way.

We cannot change the inevitable.

The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.

I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90 % how I react to it.
