 Hello! I am Mrs. Flores and I want to welcome you to my class. I am so happy that I am teaching kindergarten at Roth Elementary this year. I love children and I am excited about meeting you!
We are going to have a year full of learning. Your children will learn through playing, exploring, watching, listening, acting, reading and writing. I want our class to be a place that your child will feel comfortable to explore their environment, ask questions and answer questions. All children can be successful.Our team of kindergarten teachers will meet each week to collaborate and work together to meet any challenges that come our way regarding our students. This will ensure success for all children. Ultimately, we want your child to learn that reading will provide enjoyment and information. We want them to develop a love of learning.
I am excited about our year together. I appreciate in advance your support and dedication to your child's learning.

 As you can see it will be a busy year full of learning. I believe all students have the opportunity to be successful. Remember to come prepared and ready to learn each day. The students can bring a nutritious snack daily. They may bring a towel to use for quiet time.
