The Klein Oak High School Orchestra Department has three classes. Previous experience in playing string instruments is required and placement is based upon an audition process. The KOHS Orchestra classes are titled Philharmonic Orchestra which meets Period 4, Symphony Orchestra which meets during Period 3, and Chamber Orchestra which meets during Period 2. Upon entry into Orchestra at Klein Oak the students recieve a detailed handbook along with a year-at-a-glance calendar. Separate, monthly Orchestra calendars are provided in classes. Important student and parent handouts also precede all special activities and events.

Our Non Varsity Symphony Orchestra UIL Competition date has been finalized and posted for April 7th, 2010 at The Woodlands High School. You are invited to come hear us perform at 3:30

Our Spring Trip Dates have been finalized as well. We will be leaving from Klein Oak HS on April 22nd at 1pm and returning to Klein Oak HS on April 25th
