Dear Students and Families,
As we embark on this festive season, I am so THANKFUL for being allowed to share in your children's lives. This first semester has gone by quickly, and we have managed to master MANY math and science concepts. We are on target per the calendar to have a great second semester. Here is what we will be doing:


Math- We will be "wrapping up" fractions in the new year and moving into geometry and pre-algebra.....the students really enjoy this part of the math curriculum, but it does involve study and practice.

Science- Rocks and Minerals are our next topic for a quick week after we return from Winter break. Then we study the "3rd Rock from the Sun" and the solar system.

Technology- We will continue to use the programs we are working on and begin learning how to make powerpoint presentations. We will attempt to do most of this at school, but they may need some computer time at home.
