Together We Can Make It Happen
The Phantom Tollbooth
The end of the school year is drawing near. We are starting out the last semester with the annotated version of The Phantom Tollbooth. Students will enjoy reading this very funny story about a boy, Milo, who uses his imagination to snap out of his boredom.
Eyes on Idioms
Do you know where the idiom, "seeing eye to eye" comes from? Students will explore the origins of idioms and use their knowledge of figurative language, idioms, hyperboles, metaphors and similies to enjoy The Phantom Tollbooth.

Paragraphs A Week
THEY'RE BAAAACCCCKKK!! That's right, Paragraphs-A-Week is back. Check the Paragraph-A-Week link for weekly writing assignments. It is important for students to turn in the weekly assignments. This is a great way to prepare for the Writing Benchmark coming up in a couple of weeks.
