Welcome to Seventh Grade! |
Welcome! My name is Deb Bishop. I teach 7th grade Language Arts. This is my fifth year to work in Klein ISD, but it is my thirteenth year of teaching. I look forward to meeting and working with the wonderful students of Kleb Intermediate School. The coming year will be filled with a multitude of activities designed to master grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills. In addition, students will develop higher level thinking skills through class discussion and reading response. It will be a fabulous year designed to provide many opportunities for success. I can't wait to roll up my sleeves and get started! |

Recurrent Class Events |
Language Arts Test Days: Monday and Wednesday.
Library Day: alternating Fridays, beginning September 10.
Students are required to bring a book to class every week on Friday to participate in sustained silent reading. This will be part of their six week library grade. |

Tutorials |
Tutorials are available before and after school.
Morning Tutorials: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
They begin at 8:15 a. m. and last until the 7th grade bell.
Please send the student with a parent note. Prior notice is appreciated so arrangements can be made to allow the student into the classroom area.
Afternoon Tutorials: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
They begin at 4:00 pm. Students may stay as late as 5:00 pm. Prior notice is appreciated.
Tutorials are not available on Monday. Monday is my duty day. |
