Welcome! My name is Deb Bishop. I teach 7th grade Language Arts and Advanced level ESL. This is my fourth year to work in Klein ISD, but it is my twelfth year of teaching. I look forward to meeting and working with the wonderful students of Kleb Intermediate School.

The coming year will be filled with a multitude of activities designed to master grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills. In addition, students will develop higher level thinking skills through class discussion and reading response. It will be a fabulous year designed to provide many opportunities for success. I can't wait to roll up my sleeves and get started!

Language Arts Test Days are Tuesday and Friday.
Class Library Day will be alternating Thursdays, beginning September 10. Students are required to bring a book to class every week on Thursday to participate in sustained silent reading. This will be part of their six week library grade.

Tutorials are available Tuesday and Thursday before and after school. Morning tutorials begin at 8:15 a. m. and last until the 7th grade bell. Please send the student with a parent note. Prior notice is appreciated so arrangements can be made to allow the student into the classroom area.

After school tutorials begin at 4:00 p. m. Students may stay as late as 5:00 p. m. each afternoon. Prior notice is appreciated.

Additional tutorial days may be scheduled occasionally.

I am not available for Turorials on Wednesday. Wednesday is my duty day.
