Hi! I'm Crystal Shaklee and I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I was inspired to become a teacher by my Aunt Kathy when I was in second grade. I'm a local girl, attending schools like Link and yes Roth Elementary. I also attended and graduated from Hildebrandt and Klein Oak High Schools. After obtaining my teaching degree from Stephen F. Austin State University-GO LUMBERJACKS-I married my wonderful husband, Cody Shaklee and promptly moved to Dallas to teach in Duncanville ISD. I spent 4 wonderful years in Dallas, but my heart was back here in Spring, so in July of 2004 my husband and I returned to the community I grew up in. On October 1, 2006 my husband and I became parents to our wonderful son, Carter Allan Shaklee. I cannot believe how fast he continues to grow. He keeps us super busy and entertained at all times!!! This year I will be working on my Masters in Administration from Sam Houston State University.

I love teaching and am elated when I see the light of knowledge sparked in a childs' eyes. Second grade is great!!!
