Cycle 3 begins with the brand new baby country of the United States in 1783. The U.S. has officially seperated from England and are totally on thier own in the world!

Oh No...now what to do! No one in the entire world had set up a government based on the wants of it's citizens! This cycle we will discover how the American Republic is formed!

In this unit we will be introduced to the structure of the U.S. government. Students will be expected to analyze the Constitution and Bill of Rights. There are lots and lots of things to learn about government and it is a HEAVILY tested TAKS concept!!! Be Prepared, you will work very hard!!

Students should be aware of the expectations for this class at this point in the school year.

Students have homework daily and assignments are posted on the calendar. Please keep on top of all assignments. Quizzes and tests are posted well in advance, all low grades are always sent home for a parent signature. Be on the lookout for these items!
