    Mrs. Delores Crowe
Our children are our future!
We are looking forward to our Thanksgiving Feast that we will dramatize on Nov. 23.
Our Pre-K class is learning much language and well on its way to learning the letters and sounds of the alphabet, and other prereading and premath skills. A high priority in Pre-K is to learn appropriate social skills, and our class has been working hard to learn and practice these skills.
This is my 21st year to teach Pre-K in Klein ISD. Overall, I have taught this age student in Klein for 27 years. I have also taught 2nd grade for 4 years and 4th for 2 years. Teaching Pre-K is a pleasure for me, because I enjoy having fun with these precious children.

I was born in Tennessee and graduated from the University of Memphis. My family and I moved to Texas in 1981 and in 1983 I received a Master of Education degree from Sam Houston State University. I am certified by the state of Texas to teach early childhood education, kindergarten, prekindergarten, special education grades EC to 12, regular education grades Pre-K to 8th grade, and ESL. I have also taught 4 and 5 year olds in Sunday school for over 20 years.

In Pre-K the students learn readiness skills to help them succeed in Kindergarten and the rest of their lives. The first year of school is extremely important. I try to make sure that this initial experience helps the students to always love school and learning. This year our class will have a "Pre-K A to Z Celebration" when we finish learning the names and sounds of the letters of the alphabet. My favorite activity is when our class will practice appropriate social skills at our annual "Elegant Dinner". The whole year is filled with fun and exciting activities.

Please contact me if you need additional information concerning Pre-K.
