    Brill Clinic

Medication Policies
*Students may not bring any medications in or out of school -a parent must do both!

This includes medicated cough drops and medicated topical ointments.

*For acute problems, a parent may bring an over-the-counter medication to the clinic and sign an authorization form for us to give that medication for 2 weeks.

*A physician must sign a form authorizing us to give prescription drugs or over-the-
counter drugs that are needed for longer than 2 weeks.

Inhalers must have a prescription label with the student's name and instructions on the inhaler of box. The inhaler must be kept in the clinic.

If a prescription medication is brought in its current, original container with the proper dosage and times medication is to be given, only the parent's signature is required.

*The school clinic does not provide or administer any medications not provided by the parent.

*Autorization forms may be faxed to you, brought home by your child, or picked up at the clinic.
