Start your child's day off with a Healthy Breakfast!
Children who eat breakfast do better in school and have healthier bodies.
It is not a good idea to skip breakfast.
If we skip breakfast, we are likely to be tired when our brains and bodies run low on fuel. Remember, your child sleeps for 8-11 hours. That is without any food or drink! They need to refuel in the morning.
Breakfast should include some protein and fiber. They will help your child feeling full until lunch time.
Carbohydrates and sugars are digested quickly and will leave them feeling hungry and tired in a couple of hours and result in TUMMY ACHES! |
