Welcome to the Pre-K class at Benignus Elementary! I am so excited to teach your child
the beginning foundations for a successful education. My hometown is Louisville, Kentucky, where I graduated from University of Louisville with a BS in Medical Technology and was employed in a children’s hospital for 15 years. After moving to Texas I decided that I wanted to teach children with special needs. I received my teaching certificate through Region IV from St. Thomas University. I am married and have one grown son. I have taught children who are 3, 4, or 5 years old for 10 years in Klein ISD
and have worked at Eiland, Lemm, and Roth Elementary schools. I am looking forward to a great year at Benignus Elementary! Thank you so much for trusting me to nurture your child.

Jenny Hurtado |
jhurtado@kleinisd.net
My name is Jenny Hurtado and I am the PK Bilingual teacher here at Benignus Elementary. I graduated in May 1997 from University of Houston-Downtown with a BA in Social Sciences and Psychology.
I have taught for 5 years; four of those years here at Klein ISD.
It really is exciting to come to school everyday and learn with my students; I enjoy them and my success is to see them become knowledgeable, critical thinkers and problem solvers not only in class, but in every aspect of their life.
It is my pleasure to be part to this great district and more to belong to the Benignus family.
I am the proud parent of three children Marlon, Elizabeth and Andres Jr., which together with my husband Andres, support me in everything I do.
I love traveling and getting to know places around the world.

Renee Linden |
rlinden1@kleinisd.net
Welcome to the kindergarten! I am Renee Linden. I graduated from Klein High School in 1984, so I know firsthand what a wonderful school district Klein is. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in 1988. I worked in the business world for many years before having my two sons: one who will attend Benignus this year as a fifth grader and one who will begin at Krimmel Intermediate as a sixth grader. As my children started attending school, I became very involved in their education, first volunteering in their classrooms, then substitute teaching for years. Being with children who are having fun and learning is thrilling! I am excited to be part of the Benignus family that will teach your children. What a phenomenal year we will have!
