On Thursday, August 6th, we would like to invite you to our beginning of the year kindergarten assessment. This will be a quick assessment covering colors, letters, numbers, shapes, letter sounds and basic sight words.
The information gathered will be very beneficial to your child’s kindergarten teacher. It will provide them with your child’s initial strengths and weaknesses, and they will then use the information to plan instruction.
There will be two sessions available, one in the morning and one in the afternoon for your convenience. Please use the first initial of your LAST name to determine your child’s testing window options below and choose ONE of the following:
8:00–8:30 A-D
8:30–9:00 E-H
9:00–9:30 I-M
9:30–10:00 N-R
10:00–10:30 S-V
10:30–11:00 W-Z
4:00–4:30 A-D
4:30–5:00 E-H
5:00–5:30 I-M
5:30–6:00 N-R
6:00–6:30 S-V
6:30–7:00 W-Z
The assessment should only take approximately fifteen minutes, so please plan accordingly.
Parents are required to remain in the front office area during this time. |
