A bit about me... |
I have been teaching Social Studies in the Klein district for twelve years. I currently teach AP Psychology, Psychology and Government. My classes are predominately comprised of seniors.
Although these are very different courses, they all offer a wide variety of content and learning opportunities. They present interesting topics of discussion, as well as a host of challenges for my students. |
|
AP Psychology |
AP Psychology is a one-semester social studies elective. It was introduced to the Klein ISD course catalog in the 2007-2008 school year. Its purpose is to present students with a rigorous college-level psychology curriculum. The ultimate goal for my students is to take the AP exam in May and receive 3 hours of college Psychology credit before entering their freshman year of college. |

Government |
Government is a one-semester required course for all students in order to meet graduation requirements. It is typically taken during a student's senior year. Students will learn about the history and structure of our American government with an emphasis on citizenship. We will also compare our system with other governments throughout the world. |
