Students will be coming home with a class project over gathering a family recipe with the story behind it (see handout for details). These need to be in by Friday. |

Students will begin working on their writing portfolios to prepare them for the TAKS writing test. |

Students will begin their class novel, The Lottery Rose. |

Adolescent Literature |
Students will have a quiz over their class novel, Nothing but the Truth, by Avi, on Tuesday 11-27-07. Students need to have read through pages 104.
Students need to be sure they have selected a new independent novel for this six weeks. They will need to complete a journal entry over their new novel by Wednesday. |
