Students and parents are asked to review the following "Student Expectations" in the event of assignment to Alternative Classes. This form is included in a packet of information mailed to parents. The content of the form follows:

In order to attend KISD Alternative Classes, I agree to the following expectations:
(Check each item to verify understanding and agreement.)

· _____ I will follow the rules, policies, and procedures of the KISD student handbook.

· _____ I will come to school daily unless physically ill.

· _____ I will attend and participate in individual and group counseling conducted on this campus by KISD employees.

· _____ I will be on time to all classes.

· _____ I will do my class and/or homework assignments.

· _____ I will ask for assistance when needed.

· _____ I will bring the correct supplies to school for each class every day.

· _____ I will conform to the standardized dress code for Alternative Classes.

· _____ I will use school appropriate language and conversation.

· _____ I will follow the bus transportation guidelines. My parent/guardian must accompany me into the Alternative Classes office in order to sign in or out of school when transportation is not utilized.

· _____ I understand that I may not participate in nor attend any extracurricular activity (home or away) for any KISD school.

· _____ I understand that failure to comply with any of the above expectations may result in removal or expulsion from Alternative Classes.
