Members of the 6th Grade Orchestra do not require any special uniform. They can wear dressy seasonal clothes for their concerts and Solo & Ensemble Contest.
Uniforms for members of the Varsity and Non-Varsity Orchestras are:
Black slacks (Dockers or better)
Black socks/knee-highs
Black shoes (no athletic shoes, but Pay-Less & Wal-Mart are fine)
White Tuxedo shirt with tie (from Michael's or Hobby Lobby is fine - watch for coupons in the paper)
Red Vest (school issued, just like textbooks - $25 replacement fee if lost or damaged - please use large stitches or safety pins to put patches on vests so that they can be removed at the end of the year without damaging the vest)
