    Mrs. Angela Burnham
Our children are our future!
7th grade math
WOW!! The first semester is behind us. We will now look a head to the Spring semester. Many students are getting tired, but we need to hang in there and continue to give it all we have. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I want to work with you to educate your child. Success is the only option this school year.
Homework
Students have math homework every night. The homework should not take them more than 20 minutes.
Students are required to copy the objective and homework in their Cat Tracker (planner) daily.
Test
Our test days are Monday and Thursday. I send home a study guide before each test. Please go over every problem on the study guide with your child and sign the study guide. A parent signature on the study guide earns your child bonus points on the test. Students will not be given an unlimted amount of time to complete a test. Mastery is not just knowing the answer, but knowing it within a reasonable amout of time.

Homework help/ Tutoring
Students can get homework help from go.hrw.com. This website has video tutorials and step by step instructions for students to use at home.
Students can also go to my.hrw.com to get extra copies of worksheets they have lost, to look at the lesson power point and extra help. For the my.hrw.com website a student must have a username and password. I have the usernames and passwords for each student posted in the room.

Tutoring is offered every Tuesday and Thursday in room 212H from 4:10 to 5:10. There are no late buses available at this time.
