Hello,
My name is Angela Burnham. I have been a 7th grade math teacher at Wunderlich for 5 years. I have a total of 13 years of experience in the classroom. I look forward to a great year with all my studnets. I also look forward to meeting and working with each one of you to educate your child. Please contact me any time with all of you questions. Students have math homework every night. The homework should not take them more than 20 minutes.
Students are required to copy the objective and homework in their Cat Tracker (planner) daily.

Our test days are Wednesday and Friday. I send home a study guide before each test. Please go over every problem on the study guide with your child and sign the study guide. A parent signature on the study guide earns your child bonus points on the test. Students will not be given an unlimted amount of time to complete a test. Mastery is not just knowing the answer, but knowing it within a reasonable amout of time.

For those of you who don't know what gradespeed is, gradespeed is our online grade book. You can sign up for gradespeed and view your childs grades at anytime for all of their classes.

10% Homework
30% Daily - quiz, weekly warm-up, Cat Tracker checks, Daily class work.
60%- Test and Projects

Every student should have one LARGE binder for all classes. In this binder each student should have a divider labeled for math.
In the math section:
1. Notebook paper for notes
2. Homework

Each student is required to have a folder to keep in class.
Class folders contain:
1. Weekly warm-up
2. Journals
3. Record sheets
4. Problem Solving Boards

1. print another copy of a lost worksheet.
2. Watch tutoring videos with step by step instructions.
3. Take interactive quizzes
4. View the homework help section for help.
