IRIS, Immediate Response Information System, will provide emergency communication to Klein ISD parents this year. All Klein students that were registered prior to the beginning of the year are currently in the system. New enrollees will be added each month. IRIS provides for messages to a primary, secondary or third telephone number as well as e-mail text messages. Parents may modify their information in IRIS to fit their personal preferences. Using the student ID number and date of birth, a parent can update or change information on the IRIS Web site www.useiris.com

Your Username will be kleinisd followed by your student’s ID number and your password is your student’s date of birth. Parents of elementary age children can obtain information from their school regarding the student ID number.

Parents may also request messages be provided in a language other than English by indicating the language preference on the Web site. Please visit the site to make changes as needed.

In addition to emergency use, the system can be utilized to provide families with information about student schedule changes, requirements for school, or other support information promoting student success. You may receive a “test” message or a “reminder” message in the near future while administrators are learning to use IRIS to serve your communication needs.
