When your child is absent, please inform the attendance office at 832-484-7900. Press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish, then press 3 for attendance. Please call before 10:00 am. with his/her name, grade, and teacher, otherwise, we will try to get in touch with you to inquire about the absence. Even though you may have called or we may have called you, a written excuse is required upon the child’s return to school. Physicians or dentist notes may be faxed to school at 832-484-7999. Also, It should be stressed to all parents and outside contacts that important information (child missing school, doctor appt, etc.) sent by email should be followed up with a phone call especially if an email response has not been received. Email message delivery cannot be guaranteed due to factors beyond our control including spam filtering and equipment operability at both ends of the communication process.
