One of our Haude school rules is to Be Responsible.

It is important that students be on time, prepared, and ready to work each day. Please help them arrive at school by 8:15 a.m. They should be seated in their classroom by 8:20.

Children with no tardies for the year receive “Beat the Bell” Award at the end of the year award assembly.

Each campus in Klein ISD has a tardy policy in place. The following policy is in effect for Haude Elementary.

**Students who are tardy 4 times in the first 4 weeks of the 9 week grading period will receive a letter from the teacher about the tardies and that the conduct grade will be lowered one letter designation for the grading cycle.

**Parents will receive a phone call from the teacher if a child is tardy 8 times reminding them if the student is tardy 9 times in the 9 week grading cycle the conduct letter is dropped to a U on the report card.

Being on time for instruction is a positive way to begin your child’s academic day.
