Running club will meet on Monday mornings at 7:15 am. Students will enter through the GYM doors and check in with a coach first.

Monday, September 18, 2017 will be our first running day.

Fall Semester - September 18, 2017 - November 13, 2017
Spring Semester- January 29, 2018 - March 26, 2018

Shoes – For the safety of your student, please make sure he/she wears ATHLETIC, RUNNING type shoes. No slip on, flat fashion, or high heeled tennis shoes. They need the support of a regular athletic shoe to help prevent injury and/or unhealthy growth of their feet.
* Bring extra socks and/or shoes for the days that the grass is wet from rain or dew.
* Bring a PLASTIC sack for the wet items.

Clothing – Shorts and shirt must be compliant with the school dress code. We suggest layering on chilly mornings, including gloves and hat.

• We will follow the Klein ISD guidelines for inclement weather to determine if we should be outside or cancel running club.
• Layer your clothing on cold days and bring an extra change of clothes if you think you will get wet or sweaty.
Personal Goal and Perseverance
Students will be setting a personal goal for the running club. We will help guide them in determining their goal and we encourage them to share that goal with you. Goal setting will help them stay motivated to continue especially on those days they don’t really feel like getting up so early. They will be tracking their goal each week and hopefully sharing their progress with you.
