Practice effective file management of their Google Drive.
Create six contrasting type graphics.
Contrast by size; weight; structure; form; direction and color.

Contrasting Type: Illustrator Text Graphics -- Google Classroom
Students will finish work on their six graphics.
Students will come in before school to finish this assignment after today.

Activity 8-2: Determining Readability -- Google Classroom
Students will begin this activity today.
Due Date = Wednesday, January 24

Outside Class Task
Video - What is Typography

Language Objectives
Employ Google Translate application.
Establish communication between teacher and ELL student.
Translate dialog in each of their native languages.

Delete files no longer needed from Download Folder

Today's Objectives
The student will:
Practice effective file management of their Google Drive.
Identify the terminology associated with word processing software.
Edit a variety of text documents.
Revise professional documents such as memorandums, fliers, etc.

Word Basics: Modules 1-4 -- Google Classroom
Students will complete models 1 - 4 outside of class.
Students can use their Chromebooks to work the modules.

Working with Text: Modules 5-11 -- Google Classroom
Students will complete modules 5-11 in class today.
Students will ADD their completed practice documents to Google Classroom.

Outside Class Task
Complete MS Word Modules 1-4.
Work on MS Word Modules 5-11.
Use Office 365

File Maintenance & Organization
Students will backup important files to Google Drive.
Delete files and folders from the computer Download Folder.
Students will assist their peers to complete these tasks.
