Welcome Buffaloes,

I have been teaching and coaching for 32 years, 25 of those years right here in Klein ISD. I had the pleasure of opening up Blackshear and have seen first-hand many wonderful children walk through these hallways. I have been married to my fantastic husband for 25 years, and we are blessed with 2 fabulous kids. Both of our children attend college, my daughter attends U of H and my son just transferred to Texas Tech, so we have a house divided. We also have a Lab mix rescue dog named Ace, which is a huge part of our family. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, hunting, and spending time with my family.

Physical Education and athletics are a passion of mine and has been most of my life. I had the opportunity to participate in sports even at the collegiate level. I have also coached a variety of sports at different levels.

I love teaching students new skills and activities, as well as improving the skills that they already have to move them to the next level. I hope to give my students the physical and character building skills and traits to excel in life.

Welcome Back! I am Coach Crumedy, and I will be teaching Physical Education at Blackshear. I was born and raised in Klein ISD. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2005 where I was a member of the track team. I have had the pleasure of teaching PE and coaching for 12 years with 10 of those in Klein! I am married with 2 busy boys!! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to church, working out, and getting some much needed rest!

It is my desire to make physical fitness and health fun! If children can discover and understand the importance of good health and physical activity, they will perform better in the classroom and in life overall. I hope to make physical and nutritional health a positive part of a healthy life style.

I am excited to be a part of the Blackshear Staff and look forward to a wonderful year. Go Buffaloes!!!

Hello! I am so
excited to be joining the Blackshear family! I have been teaching for 9 years now, 3 of which have been here in Klein. I am from the Dallas/ Fort Worth area where I was born and raised, went off to the University of North Texas in Denton, and then got a teaching job back in my hometown. I taught there for 5 years until I moved here to Spring to be with my husband who was born and raised here. We have been married two years on June 14th and we have a sweet Shihtzu pup!

I am so excited to start this year with our awesome PE team! I love health and fitness and can't wait to instill my love for PE in all our buffaloes!

Hello! My name is Coach Hessemer, and I am very excited to be a part of the Blackshear community. This is my first year as a teacher, and I am enjoying learning more about teaching and Physical Education everyday! I grew up in the Tomball area and attended both Klein ISD schools as well as Concordia Lutheran High School. After high school, I attended Mclennan Community college in Waco, Texas where I played baseball for two years. Following my two years at Mclennan, I transferred to Baylor University where I continued my collegiate baseball career and received a degree in Kinesiology. After graduation, I moved back to Tomball with my fiance, and we will be getting married in February.

I am so happy to be a part of the Blackshear P.E. team! I have seen the benefits of physical education and fitness, and I can't wait to share what I have learned with our buffaloes.

I am thrilled to be back at Blackshear for another year in PE! This will be my 10th year working in the district, and my 2nd year at Blackshear. I grew up attending all Klein schools, elementary through high school, and then attended Baylor University. After graduation, I came back to Klein to marry my high school sweetheart, and we will celebrate 10 years of marriage this spring! We have three kids. Our oldest is starting Kindergarten this year, our middle child is 3 years old, and our baby girl turned 1 in October. We also have a 9-year-old boxer named Abraham Lincoln. I love spending time with my family, whether that be riding bikes around the neighborhood, traveling, reading books, or creating fun science experiments together.

I hope to help your child develop a love for fitness and health this year while having fun! I will be on campus on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday mornings. I can't wait for another great year!
