Benfer will once again be working toward a No Place for Hate designation this year. As a school we must complete at least 3 activities that promote kindness, respect and tolerance. Along with completing those activities, students must also sign a resolution of respect indicating that they want Benfer to be a No Place for Hate school. We also encourage
parents, staff members and community members to sign the resolution throughout the
year to show their support for this positive program.
The resolution can be found in your child's classroom starting in October.

The No Place for Hate® initiative provides educators and students with the resources to ensure that anti-bias and diversity education are an integral part of the school curriculum. No Place for Hate® also helps to create and sustain inclusive school environments where all students feel valued and have the opportunity to succeed by promoting respect for individual difference while challenging bigotry and prejudice.
